§ 1-13. Annexation of September 7, 1967.

  • The boundary lines and corporate limits of the city are altered, rearranged and extended so as to include within the boundary lines and corporate limits of the city the following described territory which is contiguous to the city, lying and being in Dallas County:

    Commence at the intersection of the south right-of-way of U.S. Highway 80 with the east line of the southeast quarter, section 22, township 17 north, range 10 east; thence running north 83 degrees 41 minutes west along the south right-of-way of U.S. Highway 80, 689.07 feet; thence north 83 degrees 44 minutes west, 844.03 feet to the point of beginning; thence from said point of beginning turn an angle to the left of 79 degrees 00 minutes and run south 17 degrees 16 minutes west to the center line of the Felix Road; thence in a northwesterly direction along the center line of the Felix Road to the intersection of the center line of the Felix Road and the south right-of-way of U.S. Highway 80; thence south 83 degrees 44 minutes east along the south right-of-way of U.S. Highway 80, 1,369.00 feet to the point of beginning.
