§ 1-10. Ward boundaries.
Ward One. The boundaries of Ward 1 shall be as follows:
(1)
Commence at the South Bank (low water mark) of the Alabama River at its intersection with a southerly extension of the centerline of the main channel of Valley Creek;
(2)
Thence in a northerly and easterly direction along said centerline of the main channel of Valley Creek, to its intersection with the centerline of the main channel of Jones Creek;
(3)
Thence westerly and northerly along the centerline of the main channel of Jones Creek to its intersection with centerline of Old Cahaba Road;
(4)
Thence southwesterly along the centerline of Old Cahaba Road to its intersection with the centerline of the Old Marion Junction Road and Old Orrville Road;
(5)
Thence northwesterly along the centerline of the Old Marion Junction Road to its intersection with the west city limits boundary to the City of Selma;
(6)
Thence westerly, southerly, easterly and northerly along the meanderings of the west city limits boundary of the City of Selma to its intersection with the South Bank (low water mark) of the Alabama River;
(7)
Thence northeasterly along the South Bank (low water mark) of said Alabama River to its intersection with the southern extension of the main channel of Valley Creek, which is the point of beginning and ending of Ward One.
Ward Two. The boundaries of Ward 2 shall be as follows:
(1)
Commence at the centerline of Baker Mill Road at its intersection with the centerline of Southern Railroad;
(2)
Thence in a northwesterly direction along the centerline of Baker Mill Road to its intersection with the centerline of Ravenwood Drive;
(3)
Thence northeasterly and westerly along the centerline of said Ravenwood Drive to its intersection with the centerline of Bell Road;
(4)
Thence northerly along the centerline of said Bell Road to its intersection with the centerline of West Highland Avenue;
(5)
Thence easterly along the centerline of West Highland Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of the main channel of Valley Creek;
(6)
Thence northwesterly along the centerline of the main channel of Valley Creek to its intersection with the westerly extension of the centerline of Woodrow Avenue;
(7)
Thence easterly along the centerline of Woodrow Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Kingsley Drive;
(8)
Thence southerly and easterly along the centerline of Kingsley Drive to its intersection with the Summerfield Road;
(9)
Thence northerly along the centerline of Summerfield Road to its intersection with the north city limits boundary of the City of Selma;
(10)
Thence westerly, northerly, southerly and easterly along the meandering of the north and west city limits boundary of the City of Selma to its intersection with the centerline of the Old Marion Junction Road;
(11)
Thence easterly and southerly along the centerline of Old Marion Junction Road to its intersection with the centerline of Old Orrville Road and Old Cahaba Road;
(12)
Thence northeasterly along the centerline of Old Cahaba Road to its intersection with the centerline of Felix Road;
(13)
Thence northerly along the centerline of Felix Road to its intersection with the centerline of Southern Railroad;
(14)
Thence easterly along the centerline of Southern Railroad to its intersection with the southeasterly extension of Baker Mill Road, which is the point of beginning and ending of Ward Two.
Ward Three. The boundaries of Ward 3 shall be as follows:
(1)
Commence at the South Bank (low water mark) of the Alabama River at its intersection with a southerly extension of the centerline of the main channel of Valley Creek;
(2)
Thence in a northerly and easterly direction along the centerline of the main channel of Valley Creek to its intersection with the centerline of the main channel of Jones Creek;
(3)
Thence in a northwesterly direction along said extended main channel of Jones Creek and continue in a northerly direction along the centerline of the main channel of said Jones Creek following its meanderings to its intersection with the centerline of Old Cahaba Road;
(4)
Thence northeasterly along the centerline of Old Cahaba Road to its intersection with the centerline of Felix Road;
(5)
Thence northerly along the centerline of said Felix Road to its intersection with the centerline of Southern Railroad;
(6)
Thence easterly along the centerline of Southern Railroad to its intersection with the centerline of the main channel of Valley Creek;
(7)
Thence southerly along the centerline of Valley Creek to its intersection with the centerline of Louisville and Nashville Railroad;
(8)
Thence easterly along the centerline of Louisville and Nashville Railroad to its intersection with the centerline of J.L. Chestnut, Jr. Blvd. (formerly Jeff Davis Ave.);
(9)
Thence easterly along the centerline of J.L. Chestnut, Jr. Blvd. (formerly Jeff Davis Ave.) to its intersection with the centerline of Broad Street;
(10)
Thence southerly along the centerline of Broad Street continuing across the Edmund Pettus Bridge to its intersection with the South Bank (low water mark) of the Alabama River;
(11)
Thence westerly along the South Bank (low water mark) of the Alabama River to its intersection with a southerly extension of the centerline of the main channel of Valley Creek, which is the point of beginning and ending of Ward Three.
Ward Four. The boundaries of Ward 4 shall be as follows:

Commence at the intersection the centerline of Montague Street and the intersection with the centerline of Columbus Drive;
(2)
Thence westerly along the centerline of Columbus Drive to its intersection with the centerline of Fleetwood Drive;
(3)
Thence southerly and westerly along the centerline of Fleetwood Drive to its intersection with the centerline of Summerfield Road;
(4)
Thence northerly along the centerline of Summerfield Road to its intersection with the north city limits boundary of the City of Selma;
(5)
Thence easterly, northeasterly, southerly and westerly along the meanderings of the north and east city limits boundary of the City of Selma to its intersection with the centerline of Earl Goodwin Parkway;
(6)
Thence southerly along the centerline of Earl Goodwin Parkway continuing on Marie Foster Street to its intersection with the centerline of First Avenue;
(7)
Thence westerly along the centerline of First Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Green Street;
(8)
Thence northerly along the centerline of Green Street to its intersection with the centerline of Fourth Avenue;
(9)
Thence westerly along the centerline of Fourth Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Franklin Street;
(10)
Thence northerly along the centerline of Franklin Street, to its intersection with the centerline of Cloverdale Road;
(11)
Thence westerly along the centerline of Cloverdale Road to its intersection with the centerline of Citizen's Parkway (U.S. Highway 22);

Ward Five. The boundaries of Ward 5 shall be as follows:

Thence easterly along the centerline of Fleetwood Drive to its intersection with the centerline of Columbus Drive;
(3)
Thence easterly along the centerline of said Columbus Drive to its intersection with the centerline of Montague Street;

Thence southerly along the centerline of said Montague Street to its intersection with the centerline of Eighth Avenue;
(5)
Thence easterly along the centerline of Eighth Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of North Church Street;
